Shave, Wax, or Sugar?

I've been very neglectful of my razor lately. In the winter, it really doesn't bother me to let the hair grow a bit. Actually, it wouldn't bother me in the summer either, I don't think, except for the stares that my thick black hair would produce. Who knew I was such a slave to cultural norms?

Spring is coming, and with it capris, shorts and tank tops; the exposure of places that haven't seen a razor for awhile. So, I am thinking about how to remedy this hairy situation.

There is of course, the razor. My poor razor has been awfully lonely lately. I even have a box of new blades for it. Shaving is ok, but the results only last for so long. In the summer, I really need to shave at least every other day.

So, I am thinking about waxing. I've had my eyebrows waxed. It isn't so bad, but then again that is a very small area. How would waxing my legs be? There is a lot more surface to cover there! Are the longer lasting effects worth the pain?

Then there is body sugaring. This is a process I didn't even know about, until a few weeks ago. Hair removal is supposed to last up to two months, and be gentle to the skin. The sugaring gel sticks to the hair, but not the skin. The price of wax and sugaring products seems to be about equal.

What to do? What to do? Should I stick with what I have, shave, and be ready to repeat the process again and again and again? Or should I purchase one of the other more lasting options? I would love to hear your input on sugaring or waxing! Hmmm.... I wonder if I could make my own sugaring gel or wax kit? Wouldn't that be a great Make It From Scratch!

Natural Well Being carries natural health and beauty supplies. They have been in business since 2001, and are a Better Business Bureau member. They carry various brands and also produce some of their own products. Make up, acne medication, PMS supplements, hair loss, and of course, hair removal products can be found there for both men and women. Well, I I guess the men don't need the PMS supplements, and hopefully not the makeup either. The point is they have natural health and beauty supplies for both sexes!
