Wealth Expo

Navigating the world of investing can be a daunting task. Educating yourself about the options out there is key. If you are a do it yourself investor it is even more important. Conventions and expos can be a good place to start. There you can pick and choose topics you are interested, hear from the experts, and talk with real people.

Wealth Expo comes to New York City October 19-21, 2007. This expo is sponsored by MyWallSt.net: Your Financial Social Network. They are offering a jammed packed weekend of investing information.

Weekend Schedule (details at their Workshop page.)
Friday, 10/19: 1 p.m.-6:30 p.m. EDT w/ a cocktail hour to follow
Saturday, 10/20: 9 a.m.-6:30 p.m. EDT w/ a cocktail hour to follow
Sunday, 10/21: 9 a.m.-4 p.m. EDT (no cocktail hour)

The workshop offerings range from buying a franchise, to taking advantage of the energy boom. There are workshops about the stock market, the real estate market, the gold market, and managing your family's wealth, and many many more.

The topic of one seminar particularly caught my interest; Building Massive Profits from Self-Service DVD Rental Kiosks. I think these kiosks are one of the best ideas in a long time. We have often talked about having some sort of side business to improve our financial situation. I would imagine a business like the DVD Kiosks would be one that could be fit around other obligations easily.

Educating yourself about financial options is very important to creating a healthy financial situation and building wealth for you and your family.
